At Northeast News I implemented Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. I also wanted to match the needs of the newsroom, and organized an analytics dashboard for ease of use.
I also left Northeast News with serveral user guides to help them if when they got stuck or as a reminder of which analytics to use in product planning in the future.

Northeast News
At Northeast News, I ran into a problem with implementing GA4 and Google Search Console. The information was not appearing as expected and in some cases not at all. I dove into the website on the back end and learned the webpage had not seen and update since 2011 as inorder to update they needed a new layout package on WordPress, but could not afford the fee of a designer to do so.
I, however, saw an opportunity to not only help out the paper now, but also long term when I suggested I go in and to the theme updates to allow for updates to the page's backend opperation. Once I got the go-ahead I worked with the team on style, theme, and greatest wishes and desires for the site and was able to redesign and publish a new and improved site for web and mobile in the week I was with Northeast News.
